…ee i ee i oh! :)
It’s Kaitlyn’s first birthday and yes, the party theme was a farm with lotsa animals! I actually thought that it would be better if it was a fairy tale party and she was a princess. Well, I was right that she was a pretty lil princess, however, with a huge castle farm HAHA cuuuute! :) When you look around, you can see colors everywhere — from the park outside to the decors inside, from the cake to the giveaways, from the visitors to the celebrant. It was just lovely and lively! :)
See the colors for yourself.. :)
Princess Kaitlyn…

…and her wonderful and colorful farm. :)

Colorful decorations, too — flowers and balloons and.. cupcakes? =P

I wonder if they ever touched the cake after the party. I would have preserved this until Kait’s next birthday LOL

Kids and adults playing. I think the adults enjoyed the games more. haha

Kaity perky LOL

Candle blowing with mommy and daddy!

What a pretty family… :)

I had so much fun doing this Lady Casanova editorial shoot! This is Johanah Co and Michaela Meinecke’s project for their styling class in School of Fashion and the Arts. Apparently, Johanah is a dear friend from college and it feels great to work with her again!
The theme Lady Casanova is about about romanticism as passion. You will appreciate how the model, Kar Sison, was able to depict class and elegance in the photos despite the fact that she’s only 17. Good job, Kar! :)
It was also amazing how we did everything so quickly. In about 4 hours, we were able to shoot several outfits in several locations! :) I guess this is possible when you’re working with great people and you’re having so much fun! :)
I forgot to mention that Karol, Ara and Derrick joined me in this project and that means…more fun! A lot of bloopers happened that day and my favorite was Karol saying “..this is just a test shot..” everytime her shots are being checked HAHA. I must say that we did sweat on this shoot, like seriously! LOL. Anywaaay, enjoy the photos! :)

Yes, she truly is! When I first saw her, I’m like “Ohmaygaaaaash! Sooo cuuuute!” B-but you’ll be surprised that her default face is a frown. How can a frown be too cute? She simply is. :)
Obviously, we started the shoot with her frown. We were afraid she’d be frowning the whole afternoon and so we did the best we could to lighten her up. We placed all her stuffed toys beside her, played with her and made funny faces for her and eventually.. it worked! And I discovered a way to make her smile and look straight at me — talk to her. :) Everytime I talk to her she stops, looks at me and giggles! SHE’S SO ADORABLE I WANNA TAKE HER HOME!!!! Mommy and daddy were super happy! YAY! :)
This is a pre-birthday shoot for her first birthday a couple of weeks from now. I bet you’d love her photos :)
Oh, look at her defaut face!

Awww, such an emo :P

She’s giggling noooow! :) Her mom’s cough made her laugh HAHA

Giggle some more! Oh, those two front teeth are cuuute!

I super love this photo! I did not put her into this kind of pose. It just happened so quickly :)

Did you notice her eyebrows? They’re natually like that :P

Sweeeeet!

We thought she’d be scared of the swing. Turns out, she enjoyed it!

We had a session with Dijon, who is a month old. We were supposed to shoot him asleep, however, when we arrived he woke up :( I love babies so it doesn’t really matter :P
Anyhow, we noticed that in whatever angle Dijon’s eyes kept following me. Can he see me? According to his parents, still can’t but he can sense something in me — beauty angels! WOW! :) And because of that I captured him looking straight at me.. that’s something special! :)

We had a photoshoot session with Derrick’s lil nephew, Kavan, who will be going back to Hawaii in a few days. This boy is only three and obviously, all he wanted was to play, play, and play. While we were setting up, he kept saying “..how can I help? how can I help?” and we let him help set-up the umbrella and tripod :P He was so excited because he thought we will be playing! HAHA. When we were about to start the shoot, he wouldn’t want to sit and pose and he’s argument was “No, I just want to help.. I will take your pictures!” LOL How cute is that!! :)
Good thing Kavan’s parents were very encouraging and patient. Well, you know how three-year-olds tend to not listen. :P We knew we’re gonna have a hard time with him so we just had to capture his 2-seconder smiles and 3-seconder poses! And *voila* awesome photos! Good job for his parents for trying to teach him poses even if he doesn’t want to obey HAHA :) He’s truly charming! Mynew crush, yeah! He would have been my ultimate crush if I were three! LOL
Check out his photos that could be used as ads for the kids section in a department store! :)

Derrick and I did a session with Troy for his upcoming first birthday. We did the set-up in their living room with plain white cloth as background and two lamps as fill light :P
Troy is the reason why I got so fascinated with babies. He is just charming! Because dads like manly themes for their baby boys, the theme was Spiderman. However, the mom wanted creative shots and so the photoshoot theme expanded! You’ll be suprised! LOL.
While shooting, I can see the dad getting impatient because Troy just wouldn’t laugh. That’s why you’ll notice that if he isn’t smiling, he’s either frowning or screaming :P Thanks to his mom and dad for being our assistant in making him sit still, stand up, laugh and scream HAHA. The photos turned out pretty good. :)
Check out my photos of this cuuuuute lil boy! :)
Troy as Spiderman! Woohoo!

Troy in casual wear. Look at his fave toy right there :P

“Yeaaaaaah!” - Troy

I was so excited for this party because I love fairy tales! Nicole and her sister, Thania, were both so pretty and so princess-y (of course, little sisters imitate their big sisters most of the time)! They have colorful hair with sparkling glitters and butterflies and crystals and of course, they can’t miss their crowns. <3 The other kids are all dressed up, too. They came wearing their favorite costumes and *voila* an instant party in the castle! Indeed, a fairy tale come true! :)
It’s also interesting that the program includes 7 wishes, 7 roses and 7 treasures for Nicole’s debut 7th birthday. :) Good job, Jonathan and Tina, for preparing and planning such a cute party! I’m pretty sure everyone enjoyed this day especially Tina Nicole! LOL.
Now, take a look at some of the cute photos… :)
Colorful, sparkling hair!

Nicole’s face is all made up :)

This is Thania and Nicole being perky. Oh, oh, look at their nails.. and their crowns! :)

Cute Cinderella cake! The cupcakes are for Nicole’s 7 wishes :)

Wonderful kids in their costumes!

They made a mistake! Is this a debut? HAHA. Daddy is dancing her little baby…

One of the best families I’ve worked with! They’re all pretty, right? Yes, including you, Jonathan! LOL

And again, this is Princess Nicole :)
